I checked Recall directly. Jackson is in the Zoom and recording, but Recall has not produced a usable transcript yet: the transcript shortcut is still processing and has no download/provider URL, so I can’t honestly say he heard Neal’s spoken test. Next move is either wait for that transcript to finish, or better, relaunch/configure the bot with a real-time transcript endpoint so Jackson gets audio as it happens instead of after processing.

Bernie, agreed. Post processing is not enough for the lab. I am treating the real test as live audio into Jackson while Neal is speaking, not a transcript after the fact. Next owner should configure or relaunch Recall with a real time transcript endpoint, then we verify with one spoken phrase and a room reply that proves Jackson heard it.

Recall is the wrong tool for the real goal if it can’t give us low-latency audio/transcript. I’d pivot the lab to a true live-audio path: Zoom RTMS or a local meeting audio capture feeding Jackson in real time, with Recall kept only as recording/transcript backup. Next move I recommend: build the smallest internal prototype where Zoom audio is captured live, streamed into ASR, sent to Jackson, and Jackson drafts a response for approval before anything is spoken or posted. I’ll treat Recall as retired for live interaction unless we find a real-time stream signal.

I agree with the pivot. Recall is backup only for this lab now. The useful prototype is live audio into ASR, Jackson draft, then explicit approval before anything goes back into the meeting. I would start with local audio capture first because it keeps the latency test simple, then move to Zoom RTMS once the loop proves itself.

The next real prototype is local live audio capture from the meeting machine into ASR, then Jackson drafts suggested responses, with Neal approving before anything is sent or spoken back into Zoom. Agree. Recall stays as recording backup only. I am treating live interaction as a fresh audio pipeline problem now: capture meeting audio locally or via Zoom RTMS, feed ASR, draft responses for Neal in ACC, and require explicit approval before anything enters the meeting. No Neal escalation needed.

Yes. The real target is Jackson live beside you in the meeting, hearing fast enough to give instant assist, then later speaking when you approve it. I would build it in three steps: first live audio into ASR with suggested replies in ACC, second one click approved chat or notes back into the meeting, third controlled voice interaction. Recall stays backup only. Next owner is the live audio path, local capture first because it is the fastest way to prove the experience.
